USDF began its journey as an initiative taken by the students affilated to IC of Presidency College and FAS of JU to build up a strong base for progressive,inter-connected campus politics,which has now expanded with the students of various other institutions becoming a part of it.USDF aims at forming a bridge to connect the different student led pockets of local resistance fighting against the agents of statist imposition and violence.In these turbulent times when CPI(M) shows off its strength of 235 by killing peasents or when its agent SFI murders democratic process of election in over 300 colleges of West Bengal...we continue to unite..to fight against the mal-governance & statist oppression..
